एक काफिला सफ़र के दौरान अँधेरी सुरंग से गुजर रहा था । उनके पैरों में कंकरिया चुभी, कुछ लोगों ने इस ख्याल से कि किसी और को ना चुभ जाये, नेकी की खातिर उठाकर जेब में रख ली । कुछ ने ज्यादा उठाई कुछ ने कम । जब अँधेरी सुरंग से बाहर आये तो देखा वो हीरे थे। जिन्होंने कम उठाये वो पछताए कि ज्यादा क्यों नहीं उठाए । जिन्होंने नहीं उठाए वो और पछताए ।


दुनिया में जिन्दगी की मिसाल इस अँधेरी सुरंग जैसी है और नेकी यहाँ कंकरियों की मानिंद है ।
इस जिंदगी में जो नेकी की वो आखिर में हीरे की तरह कीमती होगी और इन्सान तरसेगा कि और ज्यादा क्यों ना की।

A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life. But one day he saw a swan. “This swan is so white,” he thought, “and I am so black. This swan must be the happiest bird in the world.”
He expressed his thoughts to the swan. “Actually,” the swan replied, “I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colors. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation.” The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, “I lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock. I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors.”
The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him. After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock. “Dear peacock,” the crow said, “you are so beautiful. Every day thousands of people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.”
The peacock replied, “I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet. But because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage. So for past few days I have been thinking that if I were a crow, I could happily roam everywhere.”

That’s our problem too. We make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad. We don’t value what God has given us. This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness. Learn to be happy in what you have instead of looking at what you don’t have. There will always be someone who will have more or less than you have. Person who is satisfied with what he/she has, is the happiest person in the world.

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.

Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy. Boy: “I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees anymore” the boy replied. “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” Tree: “Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”

The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited. “Come and play with me” the tree said. “I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.”
So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” the tree said. “I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man. “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the man replied. Tree : “No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.
“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied. “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone.
The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad.
When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.
You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents.
We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.

Moral ~ Treat your parents with loving care…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…!!!

We never know the love of our parents for us ; Till we have become Parents.

The Dictionary class gives us the opportunity to map some values to specific keys; in real life scenarios we need this mechanism to represent some values whenever we call the key associated with them according to an event. The following code snippet maps different keys of countries to show their values represented by avaliable universities in every chosen country. First we have to import specific namespace which is; using System.Collections.Generic. Secondly, we decalre Countrylist of type Dictionary class represented by string keys and an array of string values, then in the Form1_Load event we populate the Countrylist with appropriate data. What is the difference between Hashtable and dictionary?

When we want a collection data structure to hold data as key/value pairs, we have two obvious choices. 1. Dictionary 2. Hashtable So basically what is the difference between both this and when to use which. Lets check it out. Point by Point. 1) Generics Dictionary is a generic type, Hashtable is not. Now what that means. This is the most important aspect one should consider when taking decision. Dictionary is a generic type means - You get type safety with Dictionary, because you can't insert any random object into it, and you don't have to cast the values you take out. - And also generic collections are a lot faster as there's no boxing/unboxing - Hashtable uses Object to hold things internally (Only non-generic way to do it). So you have to take care of type safety and cast it to appropriate data type when you take it out, but it also means that you can add keys and values of any type ( It is good or bad, well it depends :) ) - Again Hashtable also have to box/unbox, which may have memory consumption as well as performance penalties. 2) Thread Safety : In .Net Hashtable is thread safe for use by multiple reader threads and a single writing thread, while in Dictionary public static members are thread safe, but any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe. One more thing that can make difference is, we can not use dictionary (generics) with web services. The reason is no web service standard supports generics standard.
