Good Morning story of the day
Once there was a rich man in Thailand. His name
was Chulong. He was a very rich man. Yet he wanted more riches, more money.
One day he was walking in his garden. He saw a strange bird in a bush. It was very small. But it had very beautiful and colorful features. Its voice was also very sweet. Chulong had never seen such a bird in his life. He slowly went near the bush unseen. He caught the bird. Now the bird began to speak.
“Why have you caught me?” the bird asked. “I want to make money. I can sell you for a big amount,” replied Chulong.
“But you are already rich. Why do you want more?” asked the bird.
“Because I want to become richer and richer,” replied Chulong.
“But do not dream of making money through me!” said the bird. It further added, “You can not sell me. Nobody will buy me, because, in imprisonment, I lose my beauty and my sweet voice.” Then it slowly turned into a black bird.
The beautiful features were now looking like the feathers of a crow.
Chulong hopes of making money were shattered. He said angrily, “I will kill you, and I will eat your meat.” “Eat me! I am so small. You will not get any meat out of me,” replied the bird.
Chulong could not answer. The bird then suggested, “Well set me free. In return I shall teach you three simple but useful rules.” “What is the use of the rules? I want only money,” said Chulong. He was irritated. “But these rules can profit you greatly,” added the bird. “Profit me! Really? Then I shall set you free. But how can I trust you? You may fly away,” said Chulong.
“I give you my word. And I always keep my word,” said the bird. Chulong wanted to take a chance. He released the bird. It flew up at once. Then it sat on the branch of a tree. Its color started changing. It became beautiful again. Chulong asked, “Now teach me the rules.” “Certainly,” said the bird.

“The first rule is
Never Believe everything others say.
The second rule is Never be sad about something
you do not have.
The third rule is Never throw away what you have in
your hand.”
“You silly bird,” shouted Chulong. And he added, “These three rules are known to everyone. You have cheated me.”
But the bird said, “Chulong, just sit down for a while. Think about all your actions of today. You had me in your hands, but you threw me away (released me). You believed all that I said. And you are sad about not having me. The rules are simple. But you never followed them. Now do you see the value of the rules?” so saying the bird flew away and disappeared from his sight.

Following things that can Change Your Life
Follow 11 things that can Change Your Life.
"Winners always put in extra effort even when it
hurts."
"Preferences are negotiable, convictions are
not."
"Less than 5 per cent people have written goals... the
balance 95 per cent work for them."
"Where you will be five years from now shall depend on
two things: the books you read and the company you keep."
1. Take pride in
performance
People who take pride in their
performance hold themselves accountable to much higher standards than others
do.
They always strive to do the
right thing, first time every time.
To them, good is not good enough.
2. Get involved
Remember, 'If we are not part of
the solution then we are the problem'.
There are people who have a habit
of constantly criticizing anything and everything no matter where they are.
They only want to criticise
without taking any corrective measures.
However, if you don't want to get
involved then you have no right to criticise.
Either get involved or shut up.
3. Always put in
extra efforts
If you read through the life
history of the most successful people, you will find they have all lived by one
principle and that is, "I shall always give more than what I get, to my
family, my organisation, my customers and my society".
Winners always put in extra
effort even when it hurts.
Nobody has become a champion in
this world without putting in the extra effort. It is the extra that turns the
ordinary into extra ordinary.
This principle applies to any
profession; Medicine, Law, Accountancy, Architecture etc.
Would you want to go to an
ordinary Surgeon or to an extra ordinary Surgeon?
4. Take a stand
If you look at the life histories
of most great leaders, you will find that they were never neutral.
They always took a stand either
for something or against something.
They had conviction.
There is a big difference between
a preference and a conviction in life.
Preferences are negotiable,
convictions are not.
Under pressure, a preference
becomes weak whereas a conviction becomes stronger.
5. Be focused
Studies show that less than 5 per
cent people have written goals.
This means that they are the only
ones who have a very clear destination.
The balance 95 per cent work for
them directly or indirectly.
Think about it -- how can you
reach a destination that you don't have?
Suppose you go to watch a
football game where both teams are enthusiastically charged up ready to play.
Suppose at this point the referee
took the goal post away, what is left of the game? Nothing!
They have no goal post, how do
you keep the score?
Destination determines direction.
6. Choose your
friends carefully
Sometimes you hear that the
leader is good, but his advisors are bad.
This statement is not true.
You will find that all over the
world, by and large, leaders always choose their own advisors.
Remember we do not get advisors
in life of the kind of people we want, we get the kind of people we are.
We don't get friends of the kind
of people we want, we get the kind of people we are.
We get attracted to the kind of
people who are similar to the kind of people we ourselves are.
Where you will be five years from
now shall depend on two things: the books you read and the company you keep.
Today where we are is also the
result of the books we read and the company we kept in the last five years.
7. Build high self
esteem
Self esteem is defined as the way
we feel about ourselves.
You notice that one day we get up
in the morning feeling good, the world looks nice, productivity goes up, and
relationships are a lot better.
The reverse is just as true.
Self esteem is inversely related
to egos.
There are two kinds of egos that
are destructive.
'The know it all': people with
this kind of ego demonstrate arrogance.
They put down and look down upon
others.
Think about it, why does a human
being put down other human being?
It is sadistic but true, there
are some people who feel good when the other person feels bad.
They feel superior when the other
person feels inferior which means they don't want to lift themselves up, but
they want to pull others down.
The second kind of ego is called
the fragile ego, they take anything you say personally and get hurt.
What do both these egos do to
team work?
They just destroy it.
8. Build character
Character is something that a
person would or would not do even if no one is watching.
It is integrity and authenticity
in its true form.
There is a big difference between
reputation and character.
Reputation is what other people
think about us whereas character is what we know who we are and they can be two
totally different things.
Some people are honest because
they don't want to get caught telling lies.
They are doing the right things
for the wrong reasons.
They are only building a
reputation.
Some people are honest because
they believe it's the right thing to do.
They are doing the right thing
for the right reason. That is character.
9. Live purposefully
What is a purpose?
A lifetime goal is called a
purpose.
How do you define your purpose?
Supposing you are aged 100 today
and you were to look back at your life, what is it that you want to say, is
your accomplishment?
That accomplishment is your
purpose.
Have a lofty purpose in life.
Only a lofty purpose has the
power to move the spirit.
Shoot for the moon, even if you
miss, you will become a part of the stars.
A great philosopher once said,
"I would rather fail in doing something great then succeed in doing
nothing".
There is glory in such failure
too.
10. Start your day
on a positive note
Why should we start our day on a
positive note every day?
It is because just as our bodies
need food every day, our minds need positive thoughts every day.
Starting the day on a positive
note sets the tone for the entire day.
Staying positive is like fire;
unless we keep adding fuel, it dies out.
Similarly if we don't feed our
minds with positive thoughts, everyday, positivity dies out.
Many times you hear that success
is tough.
My answer is: Try failing and see
if that is easy!
11. Make courtesy a
way of life
A courteous person who is not
very sharp will go much further in life than a sharp, discourteous person.
Courtesy is made up of little
sacrifices in life.
Every courtesy has a moral
background.
When people practice courtesy as
a strategy, they are crooked; they have ulterior motives.
For people with integrity,
courtesy is a way of life.

Moral story Thought of the day ....
A man died and because he had been a good person, he went to Heaven, where Saint Peter greeted him at the door. Welcome! he said. You can enter Heaven right away, but, because you lived such a good life, you can also go and check out Hell first, if you like. The man was rather curious and said – well, why not – and he went down all the stairs to reach the door of Hell, which opened before him. Behind the door, he saw many people sitting around tables with delicious food! But they were all very sad, and suffering, because instead of hands they had long knives and forks as arm extensions and they did not manage to put any of this great food in their mouths.
The man went back up to Heaven and said to Saint Peter: Wow, am I glad that I can go to Heaven. That is really some punishment. Welcome to Heaven, Saint Peter said, as he let the man in. What did he see there? He saw many people sitting around tables with delicious food, just like in Hell! And just like in Hell, they also had these long fork and knives extensions on their arms! But in Heaven, the people weren’t crying or cursing, because they were sticking the food in each other’s mouths! “Try this”, they laughed. “And this!”, and they had lots of fun in the process.
Moral
Don’t be selfish but care for other people, and you will be taken care of as well.

Once there was a farmer who discovered that he had lost his watch in the farm. It was not an ordinary watch because it had sentimental value for him. After searching the hay for a long while, he gave up and call the help of a group of children playing outside the barn. He promised them that, the person who found it, would be rewarded.
Hearing this, the children hurried inside the barn, went through and around the hay but still could not find the watch. Just when the farmer was about to give up looking for his watch, a little boy went up to him and asked to be given another chance. The farmer looked at him and thought, “Why not.? After all, this kid looks sincere enough.” So the farmer sent the little boy back in the barn. After a while the little boy came out with the watch in his hand. The farmer was happy and surprised and so he asked the boy how he succeeded where the rest had failed.
The boy replied, “I did nothing but sit on the ground and listen. In the silence, I heard the ticking of the watch and just looked for it in that direction.”
MORAL-
A Peaceful mind can think better than a Worked up mind. Allow a few minutes of Silence to your mind every day, and see, how sharply it helps u to set your life the way you expect it to be. The soul always knows what to do to heal itself…The challenge is to silence the mind…!!

Good Morning...Motivational Story Of the day
I was cycling and noticed a person in front of me, about 1/4 of Km. I could tell he was cycling a little slower than me and I decided to try to catch him. I had about a km to go on the road before turning off.
So I started cycling faster and faster and every block, I was gaining on him just a little bit. After just a few minutes I was only about 100 yards behind him, so I really picked up the pace and pushed myself. You would have thought I was cycling in the last leg of London Olympic triathlon.
Finally, I caught up with him and passed him by. On the inside I felt so good. “I beat him" of course, but he didn't even know we were racing.
After I passed him, I realized that I had been so focused on competing against him that I had missed my turn, had gone nearly six blocks past it and had to turn around and go all back.
Isn't that what happens in life when we focus on competing with co-workers, neighbor’s, friends, family, trying to outdo them or trying to prove that we are more successful or more important? We spend our time and energy running after them and we miss out on our own paths to our destinies.
Moral
The problem with unhealthy competition is that it’s a never ending cycle. There will always be somebody ahead of you, someone with better job, nicer car, more money in the bank, more education, a prettier wife, a more handsome husband, better behaved children, etc.
Take what Life has given you, the height, weight & personality. Dress well & wear it proudly! You'll be blessed by it. Stay focused and live a
healthy life. There's no competition in DESTINY.
Wherever You Go, No Matter What The Weather, Always Bring Your Own Sunshine...
Run your own RACE and wish others WELL!!!
Happy Weekend

Story Which you Inspire More .... By Bhanu Pandey
A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life. But one day he saw a swan. “This swan is so white,” he thought, “and I am so black. This swan must be the happiest bird in the world.”
He expressed his thoughts to the swan. “Actually,” the swan replied, “I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colors. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation.” The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, “I lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock. I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors.”
The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him. After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock. “Dear peacock,” the crow said, “you are so beautiful. Every day thousands of people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.”
The peacock replied, “I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet. But because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage. So for past few days I have been thinking that if I were a crow, I could happily roam everywhere.”
That’s our problem too. We make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad. We don’t value what God has given us. This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness. Learn to be happy in what you have instead of looking at what you don’t have. There will always be someone who will have more or less than you have. Person who is satisfied with what he/she has, is the happiest person in the world.
Matalab Ki baate(Best Story) BY Bhanu Pandey
A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy. Boy: “I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees anymore” the boy replied. “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” Tree: “Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”
The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.
One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited. “Come and play with me” the tree said. “I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.”
So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.
One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” the tree said. “I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man. “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the man replied. Tree : “No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.
“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied. “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.
This is a story of everyone.
The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad.
When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.
You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents.
We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.
Moral ~ Treat your parents with loving care…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…!!!
We never know the love of our parents for us ; Till we have become Parents.
